Your Differential transfers power from the driveshaft to the wheels. Inside, two gears (Ring & Pinion) must mesh perfectly.
The General Mechanic: Swaps the fluid and hopes the noise goes away. Or buys a used axle with unknown miles.
The CCMC Standard: We perform a Full Re-Gear. We replace the Ring & Pinion, install a Master Bearing Kit, and use a dial indicator to set the Backlash (gap between gears) and Preload (tension). If the pattern isn't perfect, we don't close the case.

Master Install Kit: (Timken Bearings, Races, Seals, Crush Sleeve, Pinion Nut).
The Setup Labor: The time it takes to get it quiet.
Warning: If a shop quotes you half our price, they are likely reusing your old bearings. Do not accept that.
