The family behind the warranty

CCMC isn't just a business license. It's a promise to my four kids—and to yours.

What does CCMC stand for?

People often ask if CCMC stands for 'Custom Cars' or 'Classic Motor Craft.' The truth is much simpler and much more important.

Carli. Cameron. Mason. Chris.

It’s the initials of his 4 kids.

When Cal Thomas founded this shop, he didn't just put his name on the door; he put his children's initials on it. That decision shaped every policy we have. When you name your business after your family, you don't cut corners. You don't sell parts people don't need. You build every transmission with the same precision and safety standards you would demand for your own kids' cars.

For over 40 years, Cal Thomas has been a fixture in the Utah automotive community. But he will be the first to tell you: It takes more than one man to build a legacy.

Cal founded CCMC (named after his four children: Carli, Cameron, Mason, and Chris) to create a higher standard for auto repair. Today, that standard is upheld by a dedicated team of technicians who share his obsession with precision.

Under Cal's mentorship, the CCMC crew doesn't just "swap parts." We work together to diagnose the root cause of every failure—whether it's a simple pressure switch or a cracked drum.

Our collective promise is simple: We tell you the truth. If your truck only needs a solenoid, we fix the solenoid. If it needs a rebuild, our team builds it bulletproof. When you choose CCMC, you aren't just hiring a mechanic; you are hiring a family committed to keeping you on the road.
